Background
Today [yellow tail] is one of the world’s leading and most recognizable wine
brands. One of Australia’s most successful exports, [yellow tail] wine is enjoyed in around 40 countries and this number is rising.
The hard part was to share with the world this amazing wine and it's inspired journey; the best way to do it was via the web.
Design
The site is very much in keeping with the brand promise - nothing too serious but a reflection of the passion everyone at Today [yellow tail] shares. Yellow, well, that was a given.
Some great features of the site:
- Community providing a live window of the [yellow tail] tumbleog which in turn is tapping into the thousands of online conversations about [yellow tail.
- Whack-a-moles - those little things popping up from the bottom you want to, well, whack.
Geek Sheet
Flash was imperative, and javascript everywhere else provides content management though Blocks [SCT's marketing platform].
Blocks was also used to provide the platform to centrally manage and deliver content such as bottle images and labels for each region as well as distributer information via an extranet.
