Front-end Designer / Programmer

We're strong in front-end & back-end development, and we're looking to build our team further in readiness for some great 2010 projects with new and existing clients.

We have developed, and wholly own, an online Marketing and CMS platform - BlocksGlobal - providing the engine to many of ours websites.

Placement:
Senior or Middleweight
Full time / Part-time / Contract Basis (pending the skills you have and your location)

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, building and maintaining all front-end aspects of SCTs websites and application projects.
• Be a part SCTs core team - building, improving and being part of the broader design & development process.
• Contribute to the ongoing Blocks product development team.

Primary skills and responsibilities:
Need:

• A gun designer who's a web specialist. Be capable of owning and delivering web projects end-to-end.
• Offer timeline-based flash animation experience
• Proficiency with valid XHTML and table-less CSS
• Be comfy with a collaborative approach and iterative work-flow, be cool about building websites you haven't exclusively designed - turning them into gold.
• Interacting Photoshop / Illustrator Design Work
• Proficient in Javascript DOM manipulation (some experience with jQuery preferable)
• Proficient in Actionscript 2
• Maintaining and Updating existing customer projects

Want:

• Proficient in Actionscript 3
• Knowledge and experience in version control systems
• Experience with frontend templating languages (we use ERB with Ruby and Liquid)

Current clients include;
We work on global web projects as well as smaller boutique design and web work for local companies - many supported by our online marketing platform/CMS Blocks.
